1. Why LenzFlip?
Do you love your frames but your lenses are scratched? Want to update your look? Do you have a special event? Need to enhance your performance in different light conditions? Whatever the case, we have your solution! Flip your lens, keep the label!
2. How do I know what frame I have and what lenses will fit?
Most the time you can find a style name on the inside of the temple and then you can search our site for your style. Take a look! If you don’t see it, or can’t find the style feel free to contact us customer-service@lenzflip.com and we can help you out!
3. How do I install my lenses? Can I do it myself?
Check out the instructional videos, the step by step process is quick and easy to follow! If you need any extra help, customer-service@lenzflip.com we are more than happy to offer additional assistance.
4. How do I clean my sunglasses?
The best way to care for your lenses is warm water and the microfiber bag that came with your purchase. Use the microfiber to clean and dry the lenses with.
Please refrain from using:
Ammonia, bleach, vinegar, alcohol window cleaner or any harsh products on your lenses.
Please don’t:
Rub your lenses with your t-shirt, sweatshirt, button-up, pajama bottoms, etc.
Wipe, clean, dry, or rub your lenses with a paper towel, tissue, or any other form of paper product.
5. What is polarization? How can I tell if my lenses are polarized?
This is an added feature to our lenses that blocks glare from reflective surfaces which enhances colors and allows for the wearer to have clearer sight. There are several tests you can use to find out whether or not your lenses are polarized. The easiest is to hold one lens in front of the other and while looking through both of them, rotate one. At a certain angle they will black out, blocking all light transmission.
6. Why choose a different color? How will a mirror coating change what I see?
LenzFlip offers a wide range of choices. Most of our lenses are a Grey or Brown base. Grey lenses are dark enough to hide the wearer’s eyes but still offer the truest color. However, a brown base offers coverage but enhances colors. In low light conditions (overcast) a lens color such as Rose will offer better sight. Our mirrored lenses are best for the brightest light conditions and depending on the color coating, can also help to enhance colors and tint.
7. What quality are LenzFlip lenses?
All of our lenses are premium 100% polarized lenses. All of our lenses meet or exceed federal impact resistance standards and offer 100% UV protection.
8. I don’t see my style or brand on the website? Does LenzFlip offer custom lenses?
Unfortunately we are unable to offer this service at this time, however we hope to add this feature in the future!
9. Is LenzFlip associated with the brands sold on the website?
No, we are a completely separated entity. Our lenses are exclusive LenzFlip lenses that will fit specified brand frames, but we are not affiliated with any of these brands in any capacity.
10. How do I track my shipment or check the status of my order?
During standard business days (M-F) all of our orders are received and processed within 1 business day of payment. If your order was placed on Friday after 2:00pm PST, the order will be processed the following business day (M.) You will receive an e-mail confirmation once your order and payment have been received. Prior to checking out, you will see several estimated arrival dates, depending on the type of shipping you select. We are able to ship most packages within 1 day of payment. Unfortunately, an occasional package does get delayed or misplaced in transit. So if you have placed an order, made a payment and have not received any confirmation please reach out to our customer service via email customer-service@lenzflip.com and we will get things straightened out!
11. Do you ship to APO/FPO addresses? Do you ship to PO Boxes?
Yes, we do.
12. What forms of payment do you accept?
The following forms of payments methods are accepted:
- Credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express
- Debit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express
- Prepaid gift cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express (entered in the credit/debit field during the checkout)
13. I received my lenses but they don’t fit. What do I do?
The first step is to make sure your style matches the style you ordered from the website. Often times it’s a simple exchange. Please be aware we can only accept exchanges on products that have not been used, altered or modified. If your frame matches the lenses you ordered, we apologize! We hold our lenses to strict quality standards but occasionally a flawed pair slips through or becomes damaged in shipping. If you think you may have received a defective pair of lenses please follow our Returns Procedures and reach out to our customer service via email customer-service@lenzflip.com and we can assist you on the next steps.
